Dr. Deborah Miller, PhD, HSPP
Licensed Clinical Psychologist
Dr. Miller leads the clinical operations for our team. She personally conducts every independent mental health exam for veterans and writes each nexus letter. She is a licensed clinical psychologist in the state of Indiana and also a tenured professor of psychology. She holds interjurisdictional licenses to practice telehealth through PSYPACT and in Florida. She has a long history of conducting mental health disability exams for the VA as well as independent medical exams and nexus letters directly on behalf of veterans. She finds it deeply rewarding to use her insider knowledge of VA mental health and PTSD disability exams to assist veterans in this often challenging process.
Zachary Maileoi
Case Coordinator
Zach Maileoi is the Case Coordinator for Veteran Disability Services. Zach communicates with veterans to coordinate documents and appointments, ensuring timely service for your work with Dr. Miller. He is consistently gaining expertise about the VA disability process so he can better assist his fellow veterans. Zach is a combat veteran but also deeply understands that many mental and physical health conditions arising from service are not combat-related and deserve acknowledgment and compensation from the VA.
Zach is a retired US Army Soldier with diverse experiences during service, from tours in Iraq and Afghanistan to shaping young minds as a Basic Training Drill Sergeant at Fort Sill Oklahoma. ​In addition to assisting veterans as they work with Dr. Miller, Zach also serves as an administrator and assistant football coach at his local high school, and is seeking further education at the University of Alabama (Roll Tide, he says!). "Beyond the battlefield and football field, my heart belongs to my beautiful family. With almost 16 years of marriage under our belt, we are a team of six soon to be seven, embarking on life's adventures together.
